End of a Love Affair

Stories about love and love affairs usually fascinate me. Second to Lee Child mysteries, that is. Quotes about love are among my favorites. Like this quote from Rita Rudner: "Before I met my husband, I'd never fallen in love. I'd stepped in it a few times."

So I got to thinking about how many songs have been written about being in love. and how many have been written about breaking up - the end of a love affair. Literally hundreds.

So I said to myself, "Self, I bet you could write a story using only song titles." Of course, I took the challenge. Here is my story about the end of a love affair written by using only published song titles. There are only two characters in this story: the BOY and the GIRL.
