National Humor Month Funny Short Joke Number Fifteen

This is a poetic love story – sort of. A man’s love for his wife, his sexual life, and his daily golf game. Although not necessarily in that order. Heh, heh.

Harry and Sally Brown

Were such a loving pair.

Married for fifty years,

To be apart was rare.

What kept Harry faithful?

Two things I will name:

Healthy sex with Sally.

And his daily golf game.

Their biggest concern –

Was there an after-life?

When Harry became ill,

He promised his wife,

After he passed away,

He would come back and tell

If there is life in heaven

Or just eternity in hell.

After a short illness,

Poor Harry passed away.

His sweet Sally buried him

In his blue suit and toupee.

Somehow Harry made it back,

One evening late at night

He contacted Sally

It gave her such a fright.

“Is that really you, Harry?

Are you back from the dead?”

“Just temporarily, dear,”

Is what her hubby said.

“Are you happy there?

Is there anything you need?”

“No, dear, I just returned,

Like we had both agreed.”

What do you do every day?

I hope you are not in a rut.”

“What is it like there, Harry?

Are you getting ‘you know what’?

“I do have a life there,

Let me tell you, my dear.

When I awake

I have sex,

Then breakfast,

Then more sex.

Then the golf course

And more sex.

Sunbathe a little,

And have more sex.

Lunch comes next.

Then more sex

Sometimes twice

But always nice.

The golf course again

And sex after dinner

So much sex

I have gotten thinner.

Every day is the same

I cannot complain.

With sex and the golf course,

Over and over again.”

Sally says, “You must be in heaven,

Playing golf and other things?”

Harry says, “Well not exactly,

I’m a rabbit on a golf course . . .

. . . in Palm Springs.”
