Did you draw your pig? O.K. Now read the results.
PIG Personality Test Results:
1. If your pig is drawn toward the Top of your paper, you are an optimistic person with a positive attitude. You generally anticipate the best possible outcomes of actions and events. In other words, you see the glass as half full.
2. If your pig is drawn toward the Bottom of your paper, you tend to be more of a pessimistic person. You generally expect the worst. You see the glass as half empty.
3. If your pig is drawn toward the Middle of your paper, you are a realist who tends to face facts and deal with them realistically. You see the glass as dirty and put it in the dishwasher.
4. If your pig is drawn facing Left, you believe in tradition, are friendly, outgoing and tend to remember dates and birthdays. Hint for husbands: remember your wife's birthday but never her age.
5. If your pig is drawn facing Right, you are innovative and active but not as good about remembering dates.
6. If your pig is drawn facing Forward, you are direct, straightforward, welcome discussion, and often enjoy playing the devil's advocate.
7. If your pig is drawn with Many Details, you are analytical, cautious, careful and may be distrustful.
8. If your pig is drawn with Few Details, you are more impulsive, care little for detail and are willing to take risks.
9. If your pig is drawn with 4 Legs showing, you are secure, stick to your ideals, and can be stubborn.
10. If your pig is drawn with Less than 4 Legs showing, you may be insecure, uncertain, or living through a period of major change.
11. The Larger the pig's Ears you have drawn, the better Listener you are.
12. And last but not least, the Longer the pig's Tail you have drawn, the more satisfied you are with the quality of your love life.
I have found this assessment to be a great ice-breaker before a meeting, seminar or training session. I have used it literally hundreds of times and although the instrument is completely un-validated, sometimes the accuracy of the results is close to uncanny as reported by those who take it. So funny, my pig has all four legs showing, facing forward and a very very long tail. I am SO happy. A brilliant hub
I look forward to seeing them.
What surprised me about this test was that when I saw the instructions to draw a pig, I had an immediate picture in my mind of a pig facing right, 4 legs, normal tail and very detailed. What I drew was a front view of the pig, detailed, but fairly simple -- cartoonish, two legs, and a long tail. I almost erased the tail, to make it the 'right' length, but decided that it was my pig and I would draw it how I pleased. A similar debate went on with the legs.
Note: I usually draw just what I picture.
Ha ha! This is so fun. I absolutely love personality "tests" in all forms. Thanks for the afternoon chuckle. Pretty darned accurate! MM
Cool. I did not try the drawing part, but it was interesting to know about this test and how the details mean. Unfortunately, the pig I had in my mind was the "small circle, small circle, big circle" thing I learned from a preschool song. :P And I didn't even finish drawing it in my mind that I was only able to imagine a pig face! LOL
Hmm. Yes, I like playing the devil's advocate, but I consider myself innovative, and I do remember birthday dates (but not those from my history classes LOL). Perhaps the lack of details may only be for the pig, 'cause I really love to draw ever since I was a kid (although I did not became good enough to be recognized even by my own parents), with great detail, that is. But I'm quite impulsive, so I think it's a mix. Uhm, maybe I'm just feeling straightforward with not much care for details right now. :) Perhaps that could be a good reason why I consider myself shallow despite worrying myself on useless philosophical details? :P
I drew the pig at the top of the page because I wanted to save space. I'm a pragmatic pig?
I can't show you my pig. Still, he (and he's definitely a he. Was a pain in the ass to draw) covers numbers #3, #6, #8, #9, #11. Curiously, re 9, I couldn't fit four legs on my pig. It annoyed me. So I squeezed two mini legs in regardless. Stubborn, no?
But he's got ears like an elephant, so that balances my stubborn donkey ass out, right? His tail is curly, it is long, it is definitely there. TMI?
Well, I shall now read some more of your work. I think I'm going to like you. But first, I need to eat. I shall eat while I read. Expect a little amphibian noise among your hubs.
Rated up, fabulous fun and probably horribly realistic :)
My pig is drawn right in the middle facing left with some detail, but not many. It has four legs, small ears and small tail. :|
Hey Haunty, drbj almost got you nailed deadbang! How wonderful. I already know what a friendly person you are, now others will do so!
Good call dr - your pig pays dividends :)
As frog said, it's very accurate. I am friendly and outgoing, and realistic. Ha! Thank you.
My pig drawing looks ridiculous. What does that mean?
An amusing hub that is a great ice breaker. Thank you:)
Anna
Interesting, funny, hilarious and precise.
What a fun hub. This is a credit to the variety of hubbers we have here.
I posted your hub on my blog.
The link to my blog can be found near the bottom of my profile page.
Cheers
Dale
First, I dont have a tail, hehe. I drew a pig facing the left, in the middle and big ears, hehe with four feet.
Thank you very much drbj, Maita
hi drbj
loved your hub. I am terrible drawing, but the results of the test made me happier than I thought.
thank you it is very amusing.
I love it, I'm a 1,6,7 and 9, not sure about me tail, it is really curly two c's looped together... Peace :) Oh by the way, this proves to be true really cool thanks for sharing. :)
I like to know about myself more, but Drbj please I want to know more about your cartoon characters, from you get them from or you draw them for your own use?
This is so funny and cool! I'm going to try it on my family!
i really have fun though i already experience this kind of test but still i found it very funny...............
Hey drbj! Great hub! I really like this one on "pigs" Lol I got good results, was happy with them :)
I wish I had more time, or could remember to go to everyone's profile and read occassional hubs! This was worth the look!
Ha!..that was such fun drbj. Much to my surprise I am apparently a direct, conservative realist and only a so-so listener. I did draw a very long curly tail though!
The pig can lie...
Cheers
Great fun. My pig is smiling and resembles a fat dog with a curly tail. I saw the crone before the pretty girl in your profile pic. I'm afraid to ask what that says.
Thanks,
drbj
The unique interactive atmosphere of this hub is so very awesome. Picture me exclaiming, "I don't have any paper! Does it have to be unlined paper?" and then running downstairs to get some cookies and a piece of paper to draw my pig. I'm curious if the way you draw the pig matters? My pig's ears are not huge, but I drew them first, does that mean anything? Ears before I even drew the head! And they have more detail than the rest of the drawing.
My pig is going left, but his head is turned facing forward (in other words, looking right back at me). Does that mean I'm both 4 and 6?
This surprised me with its accuracy, and its ability to make me look at myself in a different way. Thanks drbj!
drbj,
Oh, yes I did enjoy the test very much. As for the feedback thing, I feel the same way about you.
Did I mention that my pig has all four legs, and is somewhat detailed? (It's no Picasso, but it's more detailed than a cartoon pig which is kind of appropriate, because I can be analytical or impulsive, cautious or whimsical. It really depends on my mood.) I made the tail as long as I could (right up to the edge of the paper) and that reminds me that I should have my hubby draw a pig for me.
And this might go without saying, but it's always easier to leave effective feedback when the hubs are as wonderful as yours.
Hey drbj,
Thanks again for the comments and the explanation of the pig tail. (In person I would blush as red as a beet, but here on your hub, I will just say thanks for making me smile!) Sorry my reply was so delayed. I do enjoy our comment conversations.
A really fun and great ice-breaker! Tks.
Hm, true, I guess...
Yes, well, I see the glass as dirty and put it into the dishwasher, TRUE; I believe in tradition, am friendly, outgoing and tend to remember dates and birthdays, TRUE; I am innovative and active ''but not as good about remembering dates'', HALF-TRUE (we just said I tend to remember dates and birthdays); I am more impulsive, care little for detail and am willing to take risks, HALF-TRUE (I am a perfectionist who cares a lot about details); I am insecure, uncertain, or living through a period of major change, both TRUE; and I am quite satisfied with my love life, also TRUE.
Now, this was more than a little to show it was actually very accurate.
P.S. Check No.10. for a minor spelling mistake: I believe you wanted to write ''through'' instead of ''though'' :-)
hi ya every im a sexy chick
Nice one, voted Funny.
This is a job well done. Keep it up.
Chelsea and I took this together. It was fun.. and dead on. The funniest thing was when Chelsea said, "Mom, I didn't know you were optomistic", showing that she is a realist.
I replied, "I keep it to myself just in case" proving that I play devil's advocate even to my own optimism.
We're off to the next one. This is a fun break!
Thank you!
I found it! I love these tests. They make me feel happy when I see the results! Here is my odd thing, I drew the pig dead center of the page. I turned my page side ways though. Hmmm. I don't think he is a ver good pig because I am not an artist:) he is facing left, with four legs and I drew little toe nails on them! He has two ears and I guess they look proportionate to the pig to me? He has a tail that is curly but longish?
So fun! I must move on the next one! Thank you so much!
Thank YOU:). I am amazed at how these things work. I re-read it and it does seem so accurate! I was in therapy many years ago - I needed some help through my divorce. My doctor was so nice. I miss her! Maybe there's some transference going on here:)!
You are so kind. I hope all your days are wonderful!
Perfectly said:-) I was kidding but I did think it was funny! Hub land is a strange concept at first. It does feel like you are sort of stalking some people. But then I tend to attach myself to books this way too. If I really like an author, I want to see the whole collection I guess.
And I certainly hope you have wonderful nights!
Ok. So What does it mean if your pig looks like a cat? :-)
This was interesting, but I don't think it's quite accurate.
My husband drew his pig right at the top of his paper, and he's not an optimist. I drew mine a little up from the middle, and I'm definitely not a realist. I hide from reality. We both drew our pigs facing left and with all 4 legs, and that fits, I think.
He drew much more detail than I did (mine didn't even have a face), and that fits ...
Both our pigs have small ears, but I guess that's not too much of a problem because they were equally small!
And my pig's tail was longer than his. Hmm... But then he started arguing that I didn't draw a pig; I drew a cat, so of course the tail would be longer. ;-)
Oh, and I wanted to ask: What does it mean that he drew his pig holding the paper vertically and I drew mine holding it horizontally? I thought that was an interesting difference.
HAHA... I am a realist that is direct yet sometimes impulsive however secure.. So far so good. But I know the quality of a love life... Have you noticed where the pig's tail is located??? EXACTLY!!!
Well, let's see... I'm definitely impulsive and a risk taker, but only in certain areas, and much less so now that I am a mommy.
I could definitely see myself as an optimist. And I guess, in some ways, my husband conserves resources. In other ways, he's very wasteful. It just depends on the situation.
My pig is at the top of my page, facing me, has 4 legs a curly tail, ears seem proportionate to the body size and my pig has a smile on his face :) This was fun!
Thank you for this fun test! Ok, I am a realist who tends to face facts and deal with them realistically. I see the glass as dirty and put it in the dishwasher. I believe in tradition, am friendly, outgoing and tend to remember dates and birthdays. But I am impulsive, care little for detail and am willing to take risks. I am secure, stick to my ideals, and can be stubborn.
:D
thanks i think i am just right per test, i will keep working on it we never do graduate. In time hopefully with experience we get more knowledge and wisdom to what is important in life. God is my calling. I am sticking to it. Many Blessings on your go figure blogs. Hugs Galore. GOD is the way truth and life without HIM lost is a guarentee. With Him Abundant living is real. No one can take that from us unless we hand it over. Cheers
I love your fun tests. Pretty accurate most times too! Thanks.
This was so much fun. I am optimistic, like tradition, am friendly, secure yet stubborn... SO ME!!!!!!!!!!! I loved this hub... Now to Quiz 2
Fun hub! My pig is right in the middle, facing forward, few details, four legs and a very long tail! Thanks for the fun!
lol this was a great hub, really amusing and full of fun, i loved it. BUT i forgot to draw ears of my pig.lol good one i am following u and voting up your hub
Well, that was fun! I forgot to draw the tail though, whoops.
Hmm...This was a pretty fun little test. ^^
I think my pig is really weird. o3o I was gonna draw a normal pig standing on 4 legs with mud on its face..But then I drew him as a pirate and gave him a bandana and a gold chain with a P on it, and made him stand on 2 legs. ^^;
oh my pig got a full on, on all points except the tail, it was facing towards the front so the tail got hidden behind. :( hope it grows a long one soon.:) great and entertaining hub, had great time drawing a pig, it looked cute and cartoony:))
I just had a pic of some pork ribs..I guess it was lunch time!!! :)
Apparently James A Watkins and I draw our pigs alike:)
Thanks for many awesome personality test!~ :) I really love all of it~ ????
I drew a chubby four legs pig lol ^_^ It is facing forward...
I really love psychology and actually I am really curious about your own results for this test :P ^_^ (if you have one :P)
Doc,
I KNEW I shoulda drawn that pig higher on the paper! It landed in the middle, sideways, but looking right at me. It's almost a CUTE pig. :)
It was a really small piece of paper so there wasn't room for four legs, but the back one curled around nicely. Maybe it's a demure pig, wishing it was wearing a skirt?
On the bright side, it had big eyes and a realllly long tail, lol.
femme
Its ok~~ ^^ Yes I am. Apparently all of it are correct for me :) Thank you so much!~ hehe Btw,you are really awesome!!!~ I really want to become someone like you one day ^^ :D Keep on being awesome!~ I wish you will always have amazing days waiting for you~~! :D
Shared on G+
My pig was facing left but I don;t remember dates for beans. I get points for being weird as always, I guess lol.
Ya ... I knew my pig's ears should have been longer ... damn! LOL
Thanks, this was fun! Cheers. : )
Fun hub, voted up, interesting, useful, and funny. Do the results get skewed if I only used a 3 x 5 card and imagined I was using a full sheet? ;)
Doc BJ,
I left off the genetalia. I drew a male pig, but I didn't want him to appear to be a rude pig, because I didn't draw him wearing pants, lol.
I passed this on to some friends, and they loved it as well!
Now I'll go have a look at the Simple Symbol test. :)
femme
Doc,
I left a comment on the Simple Symbol test. I was huge-whopping-happy with the results! (Big smile!)

Thanks! That was fun, and fairly accurate.
